Deva Premin is an instructor of meditation and self-discovery at the Osho Meditation Resort in Puna, India. Jonathan Tripodi is a local therapist and accomplished mind-body healer. Georgia Rudolph is a nationally known psychic, who has spent nearly twenty years refining and perfecting her intuitive abilities. She was also the subject of an intensely researched case of reincarnation. She is also working with a documentary specialist on a requested "True-to-Life" television pilot. The tentative name for the series is "Beyond the Veil" and will deal with medical cases that Georgia has worked on throughout her career. The protagonist will be a young psychic child who grows up to be an R.N. at a large hospital (Pennsylvania) and who uses her abilities in cases doctors are unable to diagnose, opening the eyes of medical professionals to the reality of psychic ability.

FUNDAMENTALS OF SHAMANISM

Bekki and Crow teach techniques basic to shamanic healing wherever it has been found—techniques of profound value today in helping to heal ourselves and others.

This workshop begins with the background of

shamanism presented in lecture and discussion. Bekki and Crow then prepare the class and lead the students into several classical shamanic journeying techniques, which they use to find and work with their personal power allies, contact teachers and do retrievals for others, and contact and work with their own teachers and guides. The climax of the class is participation in a group healing.

Crow and Bekki have taught this introductory workshop since the early 1980's and still find it one of their most exciting workshops. "It is always amazing to be with students as they experience the archetypal connections which shamanic journeying brings," says Bekki.

As a Bhakti, or devotional singer, Wynne draws upon influences from Indian and Tibetan folk music, blues and jazz, and chiefly from kirtan, a devotional form of singing that he performs at gatherings, raves, festivals and large celebrations. Mixing ecstatic and holistic expressions of music, Wynne uses tabla loops, Indian instruments, chanting, an innovative guitar style, and a generous helping of Sarod (an esoteric Indian instrument) to serve up a spiritually funky and uplifting sound.
